Speedcubing Australia is happy to announce that Australian Nationals 2023 will be held in Queensland’s Moreton Bay! This September, all WCA events will be held to crown the national champion over 4 exciting days, with FMC being held separately the weekend prior in major cities across the country.
Sign up now!The Morayfield Sports and Event Centre (MSEC) is owned and operated by Moreton Bay Regional Council and can accomodate up to 3,350 people. Conveniently located between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, it is close to the highway and public transport. MSEC features two stadiums with a dedicated competing and spectating stages and a competitor area to hang-out and warm up in. An on-site café for lunch and coffee will be available throughout all days of the competition.
The fewest move challenge (FMC) tasks competitors to find the fewest moves to solve a 3x3x3 cube in just 1 hour. The Australian FMC champion will be decided one week prior on Sep 24 by 6 simultaneous competitions. Join us and see how few moves you need at your local competition.
Locations:
Teams of three competitors from the same state/territory will square off in an exciting knockout tournament. This crowd favourite event will be held on the Friday evening of the competition. You won’t want to miss Australia’s top cubers fight for the title of Australian State Champion.

Teams must consist of members from the same state and with Australian WCA citizenship. The fastest team from each state will be selected where possible with the fastest remaining teams across the country filling the remaining seeds.
