The Morayfield Sports and Event Centre (MSEC) is owned and operated by Moreton Bay Regional Council and can accomodate up to 3,350 people. Conveniently located between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, it is close to the highway and public transport. MSEC features two stadiums with a dedicated competing and spectating stages and a competitor area to hang-out and warm up in. An on-site café for lunch and coffee will be available throughout all days of the competition.

The fewest move challenge (FMC) tasks competitors to find the fewest moves to solve a 3x3x3 cube in just 1 hour.  The Australian FMC champion was decided one week prior on Sep 24 by 6 simultaneous competitions.
